The AANS/CNS Washington Committee is led by a physician leadership team representing the breadth of organized neurosurgery. The Committee consists of seven official members — three appointed by the President of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons (AANS), three appointed by the President of the Congress of Neurological Surgeons (CNS), and a Chair jointly appointed by both organizations. The Committee is further supported by ex officio officers from the AANS and CNS, as well as the Chairs of its six standing subcommittees: Coding and Reimbursement, Quality, Drugs and Devices, Communications and Public Relations, Joint Guidelines Review, and the AMA House of Delegates.
